Hobart has installed two state of the art ADA compliant kayak launches, both in Deep River and our downtown’s crown jewel, Lake George. This makes it easy for people of all skill levels to paddle our blueways and enjoy the sights. You can choose to kayak in open waters with a terrific view of our downtown while soaking up the sun’s rays or navigate Deep River enjoying the nature that surrounds you under a shady canopy of trees native to Indiana.
