Yappy Hour Returns to White River State Park

A Free Outdoor Downtown Pup and Family-friendly Happy Hour Event

INDIANAPOLIS – White River State Park (WRSP) kicks off one of its most popular event series, Yappy Hour, in the Historic Military Park, Thursday, July 23. 

Yappy Hour is a series of free dog and family-friendly outdoor happy hour events that welcomes both people and pups alike. Attendees will enjoy music, food trucks, yard games, multiple local dog vendors and dog training demos. The Indy Humane Society and its Pet Awareness Wagon will also be in attendance, showcasing dogs currently available for adoption. The series kicks off on July 23, followed by events on Aug. 13, Sept. 24, and Oct. 29. All events will take place in Military Park at White River State Park to allow for optimal social distancing and will run from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

WRSP continues to prioritize the health and safety of its visitors and staff. Visitors are encouraged to practice social distancing and act responsibly. A full list of guidelines and protocols can be viewed by visiting www.WhiteRiverStatePark.org.

 This is a free event and open to the general public. Dogs are welcomed but not

 required. All dogs are to remain leashed while visiting WRSP.
