ITINERARY
Day 1
Art. The Village of Nashville is full of art shops and galleries. Find even more studios and galleries tucked away in the hills of the county—many of which are open as long as the artists are home so give them a call before you head there! Be sure to visit when the Back Roads of Brown County Spring and Fall Driving Tours are going on. Stop by the Visitors Center and grab an Arts Village Brown County map and it will guide your way through the Village, pointing out wineries, breweries, public art, historic sites, entertainment venues, studios and galleries all within walking distance.
Day 2
Brown County Bucket List. Climb the Fire Tower in Brown County State Park, eat some deliciously famous Brown County biscuits and apple butter from the Nashville House, zipline through the trees on Indiana’s fastest, longest, and tallest twin racing zipline, go mountain biking on some of Brown County’s top rated trails, visit all of the local wineries, breweries and distilleries, find and take a picture with the Wooden Wonders horse, take a night ride on horseback at Schooner Valley Stables, and ride the Little Nashville Express Train.
Day 3
Fun for the Whole Family. Venture to the Abe Martin Lodge in the State Park and take the
kids swimming in the Aquatic Center. In the Village, do some gem mining and visit places like Nashville Fudge Kitchen and Carmel Corn Cottage and see how homemade fudge and flavored popcorn is made! Be sure to visit the Toy Chest for fun and unique toys! The kids will also love activities like horseback riding and ziplining. Enjoy dinner at Big Woods Pizza where mom and dad can enjoy a locally made craft beer while the kids dig in to some fresh, yummy pizza.
LOCATION One hour south of Indianapolis.
