The 29th annual Redbud Trail Rendezvous will be April 27-28 in Rochester, Indiana. This event named for the Redbud trees on the property is held on the Fulton County Historical Society grounds 4 miles north of Rochester on US 31. The Redbud Trail Rendezvous is held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun. Admission is $3 adult. Child Ages 11 and under free.
The event will be just south of the Living History Village at the north end of the property and will include up to the Civil War time period. You’ll love the old time music and dances all afternoon, foods cooked over wood fires including buffalo burgers, ham & beans and vegetable stew. The re-enactors portray frontier America by camping historically in French & Indian War camp, voyageur canoe camp, Revolutionary War, Western Fur Trade, Plains Indian tepees, Woodland Indian wigwams, and booth traders in historic buildings.
