Hobart’s beautiful Lake George, Downtown Historic District, and numerous parks make Hobart a place you’ll want to be. The Downtown Historic District is home to quite a few unique businesses that you’ll want to visit and then come back for more. Restaurants, bars, boutique shops, and a thriving professional community have made Hobart their home. Most downtowns have coffee houses, but they don’t have the Librarium Café. Made famous for their Butter Beer, the Librarium gives residents and visitors a place to unwind, network, or play one of the hundreds of board games they have free of charge. Even a muggle can enjoy this Harry Potter themed coffee house!
After shopping Hobart’s downtown, hop on the Lakefront walk and make your way to Festival Park, where Special Events are taking place throughout the year. The Summer Market on the Lake is a community favorite, running 4pm-9pm on Thursdays beginning in June and ending in September. Enjoy delicious treats while shopping unique vendors’ right on the lakefront. Come for the food and stay for the fun, groove to the tunes of a concert every Thursday at 6 pm and if that’s not enough, be sure to catch the free Movie in the Park at dusk.
Hobart aims to bring the community together with activities for the entire family to enjoy all year round.
