National Mascot Hall of Fame to Host 2020 Virtual Induction Ceremony

June 11, 2020 – Whiting, IN – The National Mascot Hall of Fame (MHOF) in Whiting, Indiana is excited to host the first-ever Virtual Induction Ceremony, giving fans around the globe an at-home opportunity to see the 2020 MHOF Inductees receiving their rings. We encourage you and your family to tune in to or on June 14, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. (CST) to join Reggy and friends in celebration of 2020 MHOF Inductees: Boomer (Indiana Pacers, NBA), The Oriole Bird (Baltimore Orioles, MLB), Youppi! (Canadiens de Montreal, NHL), and Blue (Indianapolis Colts, NFL).Each year, the Mascot Hall of Fame hosts our annual Induction Weekend; a 3-day event honoring the newest MHOF Inductees. Induction Weekend draws visitors and fans from all over to partake in an action-packed weekend featuring appearances by Hall of Fame Mascots, special guests and media personnel, and the Official Ring Ceremony. Due to COVID-19 and State of Indiana guidelines, MHOF Executives made the safe decision to cancel the 2020 Induction Weekend. However, to properly honor the four 2020 Inductees, the MHOF worked to produce this extra special, well-deserved premiere event!
