The wonder of chemistry is that it is everywhere – even in toys! Join the IU Chemistry Department to learn about the chemistry of toys: from kinetic sand and bubbles you can hold, to self propelling paper boats, volcanos, and disappearing glass!

There will be special live chemistry shows every 30 minutes that are sure to wow and delight, followed by hands-on activities and cool take home experiments.

WonderLab is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 10 on May 18th! This NASA mission orbited the moon as a trial run for the Apollo 11 moon landing. Snoopy and Charlie Brown began a long history with NASA during this mission as the command module and lunar landing module were named after them.

Come learn about the history of Peanuts and NASA, and celebrate this milestone with hands-on activities. Design a lunar rover, explore the solar system, learn about the Apollo missions, and more! Free with museum admission!
