The La Porte Invitational returns for its fourth year Thursday, January 9, through Saturday, January 11, at the La Porte Civic Auditorium. This three-day, nationally televised basketball showcase will feature 11 of the best high school programs in the nation, with over 27 of ESPN’s top-ranked recruits. With its old-school charm and classic “Hoosiers” feel, there’s no better stage than the Civic to watch the college and pro talent of tomorrow.
The games will once again be broadcast and streamed live across the country, including three matchups featuring local powerhouse La Lumiere. The Lakers finished the 2023-24 campaign ranked 14th in the nation, and return a talented group of top-ranked seniors including 6-foot-7 forward Jalen Haralson (committed to Notre Dame), 6-foot-5 guard Darius Adams (committed to UConn) and 6-foot-7 forward Chuck Love (committed to Loyola Chicago). As one of the blue bloods of high school basketball, La Lumiere has a reputation for a physical, championship worthy brand of basketball on the defensive end of the floor, and a high-powered offensive system.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see the best high school basketball talent in the nation!
