This savory trail spotlights the flavor of local wineries and breweries located in scenic eastern Indiana and western Ohio. With 11 stops along the trail, you’ll find the experience to be a refreshing retreat for both the wine and ale enthusiast. All sites are family-owned, and are small production enterprises where tasting means talking directly with the owner, winemaker, or brewmaster. Each stop has its own personality, and style of winemaking or brewing, yet all share a commitment to quality and an intense passion for what they do. Many of the wineries and breweries on the trail have won numerous awards, and have tasting rooms for sampling. Some tasting rooms are as inviting as their brews and wine, including one in a historic filling station, one in an old farm corn crib, and one in a 126-year-old one-room schoolhouse.
