Howl Night at Wolf Park

Howl-Nigh-Wolf-Park-Battle-Ground-2020

Visit Wolf Park through November to see the wolves communicate through their trademark behavior-the howl.

As the night falls and the air cools, the wolves grow lively. Guests will learn how wolves communicate, both through their “trademark” behavior and through body language. Wolf Park staff members will join the wolves midway through the evening to demonstrate how animal curators communicate with the wolves through positive reinforcement training and reading body language. Guests will be encouraged to howl along as the wolves serenade the park.

Recurring weekly on Friday and Saturdays: September-October
Recurring weekly on Saturdays: November

7:00 – 7:30 Walking Path Open
7:30 – 8:30 Howl Program

Cameras are welcome, but no flash photography, please, as it can startle or upset the wolves. Generally, the wolves come right up to the fence and can be seen clearly.
