If you love chocolate, you won’t want to miss Chocolate Celebration, Kokomo’s sweetest event of the year! Indulge in irresistible and decadent sweet treats at this event celebrating all things chocolate on Friday, May 3rd from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Admission is free, and tickets can be purchased at the door and redeemed for chocolate treats of your choice. Arrive early for best selection!
Kokomo Strawberry Festival will be held on Friday, June 7th. During this popular annual festival, enjoy delicious strawberry shortcakes with locally made shortcakes topped with strawberries, ice cream and whipped cream (while supplies last.) You’ll also find live music, food trucks, kid’s activities, and the Artsapalooza Art Market with artists, makers and demonstrations. Join the fun in beautiful downtown Kokomo from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
One of the biggest festivals in Kokomo is the annual Haynes Apperson Festival, which celebrates the community’s automotive heritage. Named after local automotive pioneers, this festival features a parade, car shows, 5K run, carnival rides, live music, fireworks, and lots of food! Don’t miss three days of family fun in downtown Kokomo’s Foster Park on June 27-29th.
The Howard County Fair is one of the largest 4-H fairs in Indiana. Explore 4-H exhibits and demonstrations, carnival rides, daily live entertainment and music, a queen pageant and lots of great food vendors! It will be held July 8-13th at the Howard County Fairgrounds in Greentown.
