Wabash, Ind. –Organized by Wabash Marketplace, First Friday encourages the community to celebrate in downtown Wabash from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 7.
This free event features downtown shopping, food, live music, and kids’ activities! Event details are featured on the First Friday Guide. First Friday Guides can be picked up at featured businesses, Visit Wabash County’s Welcome Center and Modoc’s Market. If you visit all of the featured businesses to receive a validation mark, you will be entered to win the First Friday Gift Basket, sponsored by First Farmers Bank & Trust.

Miami Street will be buzzing with activities. A favorite annual tradition “Paint the Plows” will be available for families. Wabash Street Department will provide paint to embellish the plow trucks. There will be live music from the Ukulele Preacher, enjoy shaved ice at Kona Ice, and a variety of vendors.
There will be shopping and food specials throughout downtown. There will be live music at Charley Creek Inn Courtyard with Dakota Parker, Ukulele Preacher on Miami Street, and Oldies but Goodies outside City Hall on Market Street. Sponsored by Grow Wabash County, 35 Trax will be performing from 6-9 pm near the Museum Caboose. The Wabash County Historical Museum will feature free admission for their monthly Family Fun Night in partnership with Wabash Carnegie Library. As always, dinner will be served at Hangry B’s inside Chapman’s Brewing Co., Charley Creek Inn, Market Street Grill, Modoc’s Market, and Pizza King. The Courtyard at Charley Creek Inn will be serving dinner from 5:30-8:30 pm. Food trucks from Kona Ice, Emmett’s Paddy Wagon, Affine, JB’s Cuisine Machine, Red Barn Elephant Ears, and Nick’s Dog Cart will join the fun.
