Bird watching is a favorite pastime here as well as hiking and exploring the 100 acres of wildlife habitats including wetlands, ponds, wooded ravines, and a native Indiana prairie. The Jim Cope Conifer Trail features 55 species of pines, spruces, larches, and firs from around the world. Over three miles of hiking trails are available 365 days a year. During this 1.5 – 2 hour walk, you will learn about bird identification, habitats and some of the special birds who live and nest in eastern Indiana. Beginning birders are welcome.
