Adam Wainwright traded his baseball cap for a cowboy hat, and it’s a whole new ballgame for this rising country music star. Baseball fans know him for clutch pitching performances with the St. Louis Cardinals, where he was a three-time MLB All-Star and played a pivotal role in 2006 and 2011 World Series titles. Fans can now see a whole new side of Wainwright through his music. Songs on his first album reflect his personal journeys: as a father, a husband, and growing up in the South. Wainwright’s “Hey Y’all” debut album was released in 2024 and includes guidance and musical contributions from Grammy award-winning producer and songwriter Gary Baker.
