Shopping in Hendricks County just got a whole lot more exciting thanks to an $11.1 million facelift on the former Metropolis Lifestyle Center. The newly reimagined Shops at Perry Crossing celebrated its grand re-opening on Nov. 13 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the shopping center’s redesigned Town Square. The 600,000-square-foot venue now features additional parking; new outdoor amenities such as a koi pond, a water wall feature and a gazebo along with other improvements that promise to make shopping here even more fun for visitors and their dogs.
Meanwhile, the Rural Routes to Main Street Cultural Trail offers a charming plan to shop your way through Hendricks and Morgan counties during the holidays, or any time of the year. Just follow the self-guided driving tour to discover and explore more than 30 local establishments ranging from food producers, restaurants and wineries to artisan craft makers, art galleries, studios and quaint gift shops. Brochures and maps are available online and at participating regional locations.
