It will be a great weekend to visit Parke County on April 26 & 27 for the Mansfield Mushroom Festival!
There will be over 40 vendors with a wide variety of Morel themed handcrafts as well as delicious food!
The Red Barn of Mansfield property has co-hosted this event since it started and brings local vendors to the village to celebrate Spring and the Elusive Morel Mushroom.
The Mansfield Mushroom Festival happens the last full weekend of April in conjunction with the Bridgeton Rendezvous, which offers Living history reenactments from 1750-1840. Also, see trading posts, black powder shoots, tomahawk/knife throwing, and a skillet throw, and be sure to check out the hearth cooking at the 1822 Case Log Cabin.
Other property owners in Mansfield may be open April 19-20. However, in observance of Easter, they/vendors, will remain closed to allow for time to spend with family & friends and to attend Sunday church services to celebrate Easter.
They will be Open 9-5 both days!
