Visitors to the Bob Ross Experience at Minnetrista Museum & Gardens can paint in the building where The Joy of Painting was filmed. Bob Ross Painting Workshops are the perfect opportunity to get creative and learn to paint in Ross’ signature “wet-on-wet” style from experienced Certified Ross Instructors. Just bring yourself and they’ll provide everything you need to have a great time.
Minnetrista recently added to the Experience by opening a dedicated workshop space. This new space is a part of Phase ll of the Bob Ross Experience following an amazingly popular Phase l. “People are enjoying the opportunity to experience Bob in a way they never have before,” said Katy Maggart, Minnetrista communications manager. “There is nowhere besides the Bob Ross Experience where you can see the items we have and learn about him in such an intimate way.”
All supplies are included. The painting sizes vary from 12×16, 16×20, and 18×24. Bob Ross Painting Workshops are ages 14 and up unless otherwise noted.
The workshop space in the L.L. Ball Home is only accessible via staircase. They do offer workshops in accessible spaces throughout the year. Contact 765-282-4848 for more information about accessibility.
