Get your fill of music and theater, at Carmel’s Center for the Performing Arts, home to The Palladium, a 1,600-seat concert hall that hosts major national and international performers each season in one of the most beautiful concert halls in America. The Center is also home to the Tarkington Theater and The Studio Theater, which presents productions from a number of Resident Companies throughout the year.
Want to burn off some energy while you’re in Carmel? Make sure you check out the Monon Center, where day passes are available to take advantage of first-class exercise facilities, gymnasium activities and both an indoor pool and The WaterPark outdoor recreation complex.
Carmel is also home to more than 170 miles of trails and pathways, enough to satisfy both the casual rider and the serious, long-road cyclists. Thanks to Carmel’s new city bike-share program, you can leave your bikes at home and conveniently use the bike share system using your cell phone at one of several locations throughout Carmel.
