Wolf Park Howl Nights
Visit Wolf Park in the evening and see the animals in a whole new light. As the night falls and the air cools, the wolves get frisky. Guests will have an opportunity to hear a more in-depth discussion of the wolf’s “trademark” behavior- the howl. They will have front row seats to a sing-along as Wolf Park’s expert wolf handlers enter the enclosure and interact with the main pack of wolves. Guests will be encouraged several times during the performance to howl, and will be able to see and hear the wolves return the call. 7:30 p.m.

Santa Visits Wolf Park
Families are encouraged to come celebrate the holiday season with the wolves. Children are welcome to help staff and volunteers decorate small evergreen trees with wolf-edible treats such as hot dogs, spam, and spaghetti. When Santa arrives, the guests can watch the excitement of the wolves and children as the “edible trees” and other treats are distributed amongst the wolves. Although the program takes place outside (since the wolves are outside), guests are invited into our buildings to warm up, have some hot chocolate and, after the tree and treat distribution, talk to Santa, who will be accepting requests.

Heywood Banks is simply one-of-a-kind, almost impossible to describe, with a style his very own. Safety Last!
Silent film icon Harold Lloyd used physical humor to create awe-inspiring spectacles – truly treacherous feats of derring-do for him and his stuntmen that left audiences gasping in nervous delight. But Lloyd also understood the perils of unrealized potential and the deadliness in disappoint loved ones who so deeply believe in you. So goes the winningly romantic conceit of his 1923 classic Safety Last!, which will be screened at the Long Center for the Performing Arts with live accompaniment from theatre-organist extraordinaire Clark Wilson on the center’s ornate Mighty Wurlitzer organ. St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra
The St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra is Russia’s longest-running orchestra and a global ambassador for its rich tapestry of symphonic treasures. Originally commissioned as a private ensemble in 1882 by Alexander III, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra has flourished into a showcase for such esteemed Russian soloists as Sergei Prokofiev, a haven for fiery conductors like Richard Strauss, and the preferred performers of world premieres from such legendary composers as Pyotr Illyich Tchaikovsky and Dmitri Shostakovisch. After its towering debut performance here in 2013, the orchestra makes its return to Purdue. Time 7:30-9:30pm.
